The Hycrete IntegraTek Waterproofing System eliminates a time-intensive step and also installation issues of external membranes or coatings. Hycrete Element, the core component of the IntegraTek System, allows concrete producers to offer a premium product and capture a portion of the membrane market, which has typically been inaccessible to date. Hycrete Element, as part of the IntegraTek System, may be backed by a performance-based warranty and contains no ammonia / virtually zero VOCs. Hycrete Element can be metered through conventional equipment as traditional liquid admixtures (available in 275 gallon totes or 55 gallon drums) - there are no bags to break, no flying silica dust, and no drums to mix.

* Mixes incorporating Hycrete can be expected to have slightly lower compressive strengths compared to control mixes. This is easily compensated by normal means, such as the use of water reducers, increased cement, or lowering the W/C ratio (no more than 0.42 is recommended). Trial batches should be performed and appropriate adjustments should be made to the mix design prior to use.
