There are few solutions in the market for waterproofing the stucco itself.  Typical solutions involve some type of coating or powder mix.  Hycrete Hydropel^TM is a liquid solution that is mixed in as a substitute for water and works to internally blocks capillaries within the stucco to limit moisture absorption.  This additive is environmentally friendly and may eliminate the need for a top coat or sealer.

Hycrete Hydropel^TM is typically dosed at 2 gallons per cubic yard of stucco, and it is recommended that   Hycrete Hydropel^TM be used as part of the base coat.
