Hycrete Greenbar^TM offers arguably the highest level of concrete corrosion protection available on the market today.  This product has undergone over a decade of independent testing against common corrosion inhibiting admixtures/mix designs, and the results are undeniable (please see "Hycrete Testing Summary" for details).  Hycrete Greenbar^TM has been used by several state DOTs and continues to be critical component for corrosion-protected concrete. 

Hycrete Greenbar^TM is specially designed to deliver maximum corrosion protection for use in harsh environments.  Popular applications include bridge decks, roadways, seawalls, ocean community balconies/podium decks, parking garages, airports, and certain industrial concrete flooring.

* Mixes incorporating Hycrete can be expected to have slightly lower compressive strengths compared to control mixes. This is easily compensated by normal means, such as the use of water reducers, increased cement, or lowering the W/C ratio (no more than 0.42 is recommended). Trial batches should be performed and appropriate adjustments should be made to the mix design prior to use.
