Hycrete Eco-Bar protects the reinforcing steel by chemically bonding to the steel surface and creating a monomolecular film. One end of the active molecule is polar by nature and attaches to other polar particles, such as iron or other metallic molecules. Because Eco-Bar is chemically bound to the steel surface, this admixture offers greater endurance and enhances structural life, even in the presence of cracked concrete.
